
COVID Pandemic
While the world was battling the Covid Crisis, Project Aatmanirbhar team took up several initiatives in the city of Mathura by distributing almost 18000 food packets to the needy. The Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad was the nodal agency and collected the food from central kitchen operated by Project Aatmanirbhar Team.
The Indian Journlist Unioun representatives approached Project Aatmanirbhar for help as the local jounalists were contracting covid, putting their lives at risk while covering news in areas severely hit by the virus. In respoonse, Project Aatmanirbhar provided insurance policy of Rs. 7.5 lakh each to 188 senior and junior journalists of Mathura.
In addition, during the shortage of hand sanitizers for its Covid response team, the local Government when in dire need took help of Project Aatmnirbhar who hand over 1000 liters of hand sanitizers to local government free of cost.
A sum of Rs. 1 Lac in cash was also handed over to the District Magistrate for the covid relief fund.
