Launching of Yamunashtak

The Yamunashtakam is the first among the 16 works composed by Shri Vallabhacharya in 1549 AD during his Prithvi Parikrama, Shri Vallabh was in Gokul and he was undecided about the exact place of Thakurani Ghat at that time Shri Yamuna ji herself appeared and guided, pointed out the exact exact place, and there Shri Vallabhanharya composed Shri Yamunashtakam, the beautiful Stotra in the praise of Shri Yamuna ji.

It consist of nine versus eight of them are written in praise of Yamuna ji and in the ninth Shri Vallabh describes for our daily rituals. Project Aatmanirbhar founder realised that the Chaturvedi community of Mathura has a deep connect with the Vallabhacharya and the entire community of Yamuna devotees and therefore decided to launch a new version sung exclusively by Chaturvedi singers. This was an immediate hit and was made into two versions; one the traditional Aarti version and the second was a moodful love and hope inspiring modern fusion.
